About Comic
Pinethorn is a comic inspired by TV shows like The Simpsons and Malcolm in the Middle. It follows the David family, who, after the death of the father, are forced to move in with Heather’s high school friend, Lucy.
The stories will follow the lives of the David family in the Midwestern town of New West Pinethorn Pinetown or Pinethorn for short, focusing on Malcolm and Heather David and their newborn baby, and the lives of their friends and other residents of the town.
Pinethorn is updated weekly, minimum one page a week, maybe more (depends on how much I can get done)

JST is a college student who loves making comics and eating dirt. They get inspirations from movies like The Lighthouse, Little Miss Sunshine, Christmas Vacation, Hundreds of Beavers, The Holdovers, Over the Garden Wall, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Iron Claw, Iron Gaint but not from Ironman. Music from bands like Ween, David Bowie, Car Seat Headrest, The Velvet Underground, The Moldy Peaches, The White Stripes, Radiohead, Primus, Cake, Tyler the Creator, and MGMT. Comics like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Beastars, Bone, The invader zim comics as well as JTHM, Calvin and Hobbes, and Garbage Night and video games like like Night in the Woods, Disco Elysium, Silent Hill 3, The Bidning of Issac, Mairo Party, Disillusion, and Yakuza. Plus every sitcom ever made. He can be found in the woods looking at worms at 12:23 every night.
