Malcolm David After turning 13 and the death of his father, he enters his angsty rebellious phase. Or at least try to. Loves horror movies (His favorite is Texas Chainsaw Massacre) rock music (His favorite band is Korn) and hates to clean his room. He has no talents or interesting qualities about him.

Heather David 40 years old and the mother of Mimi and Malcolm disputes what he might tell you, after her husband's death she was forced to move back to her hometown and in with her high school friend Lucy, She graduated from West University East with a bachelor's in history, enjoys medieval studies and music from the 1800s.

Mimi (Marilyn) David Marilyn or better known as Mimi is the newborn of the family born a few months after the death of John David she loves to suck on her hands and watch cartoons on the TV. She grows up to be the dictator of the universe.

John David The father and husband who passed away. Had a love for music, movies, and art. Drop-out of college and had a job as a construction worker for 12 years until a pipe was accidentally dropped on him. That didn’t kill him what did was a heart attack a few weeks after he recovered. Died at age 37.

Jimmy McQuill New best friend of Malcolm after the move. Mostly forgotten by the students and most of the teachers, tends to be quite and stick to himself, met Malcom after they were both given the same desk in math class. This was never fixed. Tends to enjoy comic books more than books but still reads more than the average student.

Lucy Brook 40 years old. Highschool of friend of Heather. Stayed in Pinethorn after heather moved out. Started her own business in fabric and fashion, owning a small store in town where heather works at. Unmarried and has no kids. Likes erotic novels about aliens, cowboys, and alien cowboys.

Sarah Cage Malcolm's and Jimmy's other friend. Troubled by visions of demons, she believes that she has one angel to protect her named Hazel: a demon in disguise. Her schizophrenic behavior paired with her overzealous religious beliefs has started the rumor that she is part of a cult.

Lisa Yorke Malcolm's crush. Lisa is a quiet yet popular girl known for her kindness, gentleness, charity, and singing voice. Her uncle is the mayor of Pinethorn.

Ofix Ofix (not real name) is the owner of a local comic shop and author of the local underground comic book Communist Dog and Kitty. The only readers are Malcolm and Jimmy.
